The Zack Latteri Foundation is extremely proud of the impact we’ve been able to have on our local community, and hope that we will continue to “pay it forward” while honoring Zack’s memory for the years to come. With generous donations and various successful fundraisers, the Zack Latter Foundation has been able to…
- Provide scholarships for students graduating from Holdrum Middle School, Pascack Valley High School, and Pascack Hills High School
- Make donations to the River Vale Police Department, River Vale Fire Department, River Vale Ambulance Corps., Hillsdale Fire Department, and Hillsdale Volunteer Ambulance Service
- Provide support for families who are going through their own battle with cancer
- Create and donate our signature ZackPacks to Hackensack Children’s Hospital and other pediatric centers around the area.

The Zack Latteri Foundation is always looking to get as many people involved as possible when it comes to setting up fundraisers for local communities. Below, you can find some of the ways that local groups have helped ZLF make a difference for those in need.
Hawthorne NHS
The National Honor Society at Hawthorne High School in Hawthorne, New Jersey partnered with the foundation to create and supply ZackPacks to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Patterson in 2024 and Hackensack Hospital in 2025. These students collected coloring books, markers, colored pencils, books, and other supplies in order to put together the ZackPacks and make a difference in their community.
Teens Against Cancer
Teens Against Cancer (TAC) is a club at Pascack Hills High School that participates in many community events throughout the year that raise money for those battling cancer. When they found out that the Zack Latteri Foundation included a comfortable set of sheets in all of their ZackPacks, TAC began to supply the foundation with handmade blankets to make a pediatric cancer patient’s hospital stay just a bit more comfortable. They’ve helped to make the ZackPacks even more meaningful with these blankets.
Holdrum Middle School
The students at Holdrum Middle School in River Vale, New Jersey have held various fundraisers over the past few years that have focused on collecting the materials needed to make our ZackPacks. Without these drives and fundraisers, we would not be able to put together as many ZackPacks or help as many kids in need.
