In keeping with Zack’s loving and giving spirit, our mission is to make an impact on the community by developing and supporting positive changes to our schools, departments of public safety, shared community spaces, and individuals or organizations. As we continue “paying it forward” we honor Zack’s passion for life and perpetuate his lasting legacy.
About Zack
The Zack Latteri Foundation was created in honor and memory of Zack Latteri, who grew up in River Vale, New Jersey. Zack was first diagnosed with leukemia at the age of ten, while in the fourth grade. Over the five years that followed, he demonstrated extraordinary courage and resilience, never letting the disease get in the way of living his life to the fullest. Sadly, Zack passed away on July 16, 2015.
Zack is remembered by his family and friends as a compassionate, generous, and thoughtful person, even amidst the most challenging moments of his battle with cancer. In keeping with our mission, the Zack Latteri Foundation is dedicated to giving back to the community, as Zack would’ve wanted us to do. His enduring legacy has helped us to raise and donate thousands of dollars to individuals, families, and organizations in need, while also providing moments of joy to those facing their own struggles.
Our hope is to continue to “pay it forward” as we honor the boy who inspired everyone around him to be a better person.
